HOW IT ALL STARTED
We started The PAC (Power Aware Company) to raise awareness about the planet's electricity consumption. We wanted more people to understand how much electricity we waste unnecessarily and reduce the consumption of standby electricity.
In the light of these thoughts our engineer Anton Gustafsson, on a beautiful spring day, came up with a way to make electricity consumption visible. He created a unique technology so that you can actually see with the naked eye the electricity you use: The PAC - where we see the electricity "flow" through the cable.
INNOVATION & TECHNOLOGY
Our technology makes your electricity consumption visible through a brilliant current flow. The more power your device receives, the slower the electricity moves, to eventually go out. In this way, the cable indicates very clearly when the charging is complete - and that it is time to pull out the cable. The technology proved to work excellently and soon TIME Magazine named The PAC one of the world's 50 best innovations. Something we are of course very proud of!
When we in real time see what we consume, an electricity awareness is created in us. This is exactly where real behavioral changes begin. We will continue to design smart products that increase global awareness and enable us to take action - and turn off what we do not use. We will continue to challenge old behaviors and habits, because we know how much difference we can make together. Conscious people consume electricity sustainably - for a better future.
ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY & SUSTAINABLE
The PAC's patented charging cables hold all certifications that ensure quality, environmental impact and sustainability - such as MFi, WEEE, RoHS, CE och FCC. Since you invest large sums in computers, telephones, headphones and more, it is important to charge these with certified cables - otherwise they risk being damaged.
SWEDISH, PATENTED INNOVATION
The PAC is a Swedish, patented innovation. The technology is patented in Europe and the USA and is owned by the parent company Counterflo AB.
