Reducing energy use in your home saves you money, improves our energy security, and decreases pollution from non-renewable energy sources. The shift to green energy and the mindful energy consumption is one of the most important things we can do for the earth.
This is certainly what we believe in the PAC community. Now that almost everything is at the touch of our fingertips with smartphones, computers, and even smartwatches. It’s even more important for us to use energy with intent.
The aim is to live our best lives while ensuring the next generations get to live theirs.
Reducing your electrical demands is the first step in installing a small renewable energy system to generate your own electricity, such as a solar electric system or a small wind turbine since it enables you to acquire smaller and less costly equipment.

When you talk about solar panels or wind-generated electricity you might think this is too much effort for one person right?
The thing is, these big habits start with baby steps. Things that you can do on your own. If we add all out little changes, that’s when the magic happens.
It’s the collective effort that sums up something big enough to change the world.
Let’s start with the easiest, lights off!
Buy energy-efficient goods, run them properly, and use energy-efficient windows and skylights to bring more daylight into your house.
These are only a few of the easy ways you can conserve energy by reducing light usage.
The cold never bothered you anyway? Opt for efficient space heating and cooling technology
We might wish we were all like Elsa from frozen who’s never bothered by the cold, but warm blooded humans need good thermoregulation.
Good news! Recent technology offers efficient thermoregulation to warm up your home.
Invest in energy-efficient electric systems and keep them running smoothly. Use energy-efficient windows and incorporate passive solar design elements into your house.
These things may sound like a hassle to think about when you’re planning on building a dream house, but trust me, the compounded effects in the future will be worth it!
Everything runs on power nowadays so make sure you have good energy-saving electronics and appliances
Invest in energy-saving goods and run them effectively. Reduce "vampire loads"—electricity wasted while gadgets aren't in use—by using an advanced power strip.
Reduce the number of appliances that are constantly on. Examine your usage at 3 a.m. if you have a smart meter and can check your hourly use. It should be much less than what you used at 7 p.m. If it isn't, you may be suffering from "vampire loads."
Look for equipment you don't use or can turn off, such as VCRs, or get rid of that extra refrigerator.
Many utilities are launching initiatives to encourage consumers to use power during non-peak hours. The savings are passed on to you, the consumer, in the form of refunds or lower power costs.
It’s these little things that we don’t usually think about that make quite the difference when the monthly bill comes up. Try it and see for yourself.

This is where Power Aware comes in handy!
Through a dazzling current flow, our technology makes your power use evident. The more power your gadget gets, the slower the electricity travels, ultimately causing the item to shut down.
Power Aware Cables clearly displays when the charging is complete - and when it is time to remove the connection.
This technology is available for triple charging compatible with most phones and devices. Choose from USB-C, apple lighting & micro-USB all in one go!
When we can see what we use in real-time, we develop an awareness of electricity. This is the point at which genuine behavioral changes take place.
Join us in the Power Aware Community as we raise global awareness and empower collective action - like turning off the lights when we're not using them.
We'll keep challenging old habits and behaviors because we know how much of a difference we can make when we work together. For a brighter future, conscious people utilize power in a sustainable manner. Join us in our journey towards a better future!
