Companies buying The Pac can get their logo printed on The Pac. Here is a video clip from the printing house in Bålsta where this is done.
Today The Pac’s new commercial video premieres on YouTube. It is created by Happyphant Production and Mini at Large, based on Poweraware’s vision to save power, money and our planet.
In addition to launching the energy efficiency tool The Pac during 2015, Poweraware has also developed a new graphic identity and website. Today a commercial video that will be shown on the web is released for the innovation The Pac.
The film has been created in collaboration with the production company Happyphant Production and the visual communication agency Mini at Large. Happyphant was founded 2014 in Stockholm by Andreas Alfredsson and Roy Rossovich. They create everything from feature films, documentaries, commercials and music videos to corporate films.
The Pac is a fantastically cool innovation and a unique design product. With the film we want to show that the first step towards solving a problem is making it visible. You don’t leave home without turning off the TV or closing the tap because you can see or hear them. With The Pac you get help to turn off the electronic devices you previously have not been able to see pulling energy, says Andreas Alfredsson, co-founder and producer of Happyphant Production.
A large amount of energy goes to waste because of appliances that consume power even though we believe that they are turned off. This causes large carbon dioxide emissions. By making power visible The Pac reminds us to turn off these devices.
We want to create awareness of the problem of standby and show that it isn’t so hard to do something about it. If everybody contributes we will have very large positive effects, says Erik Tutzauer, founder of Poweraware.
